What is SEO
What Is SEO / Search Engine Optimization?
What is SEO?
SEO stands for “search engine optimization.” In simple terms, it means the process of improving your site to increase its visibility for relevant searches. The better visibility your pages have in search results, the more likely you are to garner attention and attract prospective and existing customers to your business.
How does SEO work?
Search engines such as Google and Bing
use bots to crawl pages on the web, going from site to site, collecting
information about those pages and putting them in an index. Next,
algorithms analyze pages in the index, taking into account hundreds of
ranking factors or signals, to determine the order pages should appear
in the search results for a given query.
Search ranking factors can be considered proxies for aspects of the user experience. Our Periodic Table of SEO Factors
organizes the factors into six main categories and weights each based
on its overall importance to SEO. For example, content quality and
keyword research are key factors of content optimization, and
crawlability and mobile-friendliness are important site architecture
factors.
The search algorithms are designed to surface relevant,
authoritative pages and provide users with an efficient search
experience. Optimizing your site and content with these factors in mind
can help your pages rank higher in the search results.
Unlike paid search ads, you can’t pay search engines to get higher organic search rankings.
Overlord Anime
Overlord Anime – Manga – Characters And Similar Anime
Overlord is a Japanese light novel series written by Kugane Maruyama, illustrated by So-bin. Overlord is an English translation of the Japanese light novel (Japanese: オーバーロード). It started serialization in 2010, until Enterbrain was acquired. Since 30 July 2012, 14 volumes have been written. The author said he had intially scheduled 17 novels, but he could proceed with writing more if it gained ample popularity. From 26 November 2014, a manga adaptation from Satoshi, with art from Hugin Miyama, was started in the manga magazine Comp Ace, Kadokawa Shoten. In North America Yen Press is authorised for both light and manga novels, with the date of publication of 8 November 2016.
The Madhouse anime adaptation television series comprises of 3 seasons with 13 episodes per season, the first being broadcast between 7 July and 29 September 2015. On February 25, 2017, and March 11, 2017 in Japan, two anime films that capture the events of the first season have been released. The second season lasted from 9 January to 3 April 2018 and the first of the third season was on 10 July 2018 later the same year, after which the last episode was broadcast on 2 October 2018.Regarding the fourth season of this anime, at AnimagiC 2019 in Germany, the writer of the Anime series spoke about the prospect of making this season “extremely likely”.
PLOT
In 2126, a Dive Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game or DMMORPG named YGGDRASIL was introduced. Their unique player ability to communicate with the game is a major feature of the DMMORPG. The game servers are about to shut down after a good 12-year run. Ainz Ooal Gown, once a guild of 41 members and one of the best guilds in the game, remains within the game. Just four of the other participants remain today. The remaining 37 left the game and one of the member, a skeleton “Overlord” player named Momonga, is now playing as the leader of the guild. Only minutes prior to the shutdown, he invites the remaining members of the guild, but only one of the member appears for a brief period before departing. Saddled by that, he recognizes the fact that his friends care about their other lives and chooses to keep plugged into the server until the servers cease.
When the shutdown time comes, Momonga discovers that the game hasn’t gone away; now it seems that Nazarick and its numerous NPCs are being moved to a distant reality. Momonga is stuck inside the game in the form of his game avatar, leaving him unable to use simple game functions or even log out of the game. Momonga does not have another way to hear if someone from the real world is with him in this new world. Using Ainz Ooal Gown’s name, Momonga’s message to all other players, Momonga starts a trip around the world, attempting to sort it out while looking for someone or something that will help him solve this mystery while ensuring Nazarick’s safety. The fact that Ainz Ooal Gown does not exhibit any moral hardship of killing and other acts that are taboo in the real world tend to make adjustments to his behaviour by means of game mechanics. This is a tale of a creature’s psychology with an almost infinite influence beyond ethical consideration.
Everything that was in the game is present in the modern world. Stuff such as war, spells, quest, etc. The world’s inhabitants are the elite and the strongest, ranked in numbers at 10/0. Since Ainz was a clan chief, a farmers and an obsessive game player.
In all, he was maxed out wisely and almost smart with tools. In the past game, Ainz and his clan leaders created some of their own NPC’s, copying their habits and their style and behaviour, so it was just like them. Ainz soon grabbed his mind, and began plotting to take over the world.
Knowing that he is one of the most mighty entities in the game world, by separating the NPC in parts and collecting knowledge for him, he is attempting to collect information about this new world. However, he did not linger at the castle, since he still went to get information, put on a cloak and tried to remain unknown. Inside the game, he was a mighty magician, almost all his motions and the most notable magic of all, but he began to use melee moves because it was all too easy for him.
Ainz just decided to have some fun, because this was all new to him, he just goes everywhere to help small villagers and welcome any new quests. He is led by one of the battlemaids in Narberal castle who represents Ainz anywhere he goes. They also identified and entered a group to aid them with their quests when collecting information. The adversary was brought into the show but Ainz and his servants were extremely powerful in comparison. The first season, the anime seems very fast paced.
There is a lot of brutality, blood and gore in the battle scenes in the anime. It’s quite a harsh way to be put out, to put it simply. I didn’t expect that because I thought this series was going to be censored. The way the arcs were incorporated into the show was only bad, the more the arc switches, the greater the anime looks as a comedy rather than a mature genre.
More from the gaming world should have been clarified in terms of how the magic works and the different factions presented, etc, what happened right after the grandson of the alchemist was rescued, etc. Ainz Ooal Gown aimed for prestige, popularity, etc. But it did not make it possible because of the loose relation of arcs.
It makes it impossible for the show to incorporate a villain or adversary if Ainz is the over-powered guy he is. Since he might beat everyone, he tries to enjoy any challenge, and not finish it in a snap. It is not only Ainz who is overpowered, but also the Guardians. It was shown he is vulnerable to holy moves, as most rpgs and games do, but hardly anyone is strong enough till now for Ainz.

What is Manga
Manga are Japanese comics. The main difference between them and American comics is that manga make up a large percentage of the Japanese publishing market, so that there are comics available for all ages, genders and interests. Golf manga, football manga (both American and European), fishing, food, wine, superheroes, aliens, true crime, action....whatever a person might like, there is probably a manga about it.
If you'd like to get a quick snapshot of the kinds of things that are available in manga, check out these titles, just to give you some idea of the kinds of variety there are:
One Piece - this is a fighting fantasy story about a rubber pirate. It is the world's best-selling manga. (Volume 64 of the series in Japanese had a 4-million copy first printing.) Viz Publishing
Sailor Moon - This series just celebrated its 20th anniversary last week. The new English language version has been on the NY Times Graphic Books Bestseller list since it came out. This series is pretty much what people think of when they think of "manga" - girls with big eyes and small mouths and short skirts fighting monsters. 20 years old - and it's not only still around, it's doing really well...a new Japanese print edition and a new anime were announced last week. Kodansha USA
Drops of God - This series is about...wine. It's sort of a fighting manga, but the fights are wine tastings. A young man and his rival compete to find the twelve finest wines of the world, and gain access to their father's fortune. Sound goofy? It is, but this goofy manga has been affecting wine market pricing for years. When one wine was mentioned in this manga, the vintner took it off the market so people would not speculate in it. Before it ever was translated into English, Drops of God was profiled by the Wall St. Journal, the New York Times and Wine Spectator. Vertical Publishing
Sakuran - This story is about a girl brought up in a brothel and how she is trained to become the top rank in the house. Coming this year from Vertical Publishing.
Jormungand - A very cheerful, at times funny, story about arms dealers. This is a pretty typical "action for adult men" series, like a SpikeTV kind of thing. Viz Publishing
None
of these manga are like one another. Except in that they are all manga.
You might hate them all, but they will give you a super quick glimpse
of a few completely different types of manga.
What is refer in West as (Japanese) manga is a type of comic (manga) called “story manga” in Japan. Story manga synch the panel and dialogue placements and size with the viewing speed and movement of reader’s eyes. Manga is much similar to a draft storyboard used for actual film production. This allow readers to view rather than read comic to digest story.,
The result is much more dynamic and varied expression of emotion, drama and action compared to written novel or american style of comic which is more like story book (you need to stop, look at pictures and spend time reading text).
Obviously, medium can’t be as dynamic or dramatic or real as high production live TV/film or animation. But while a film would cost at least few millions dollar and animation would cost few hundreds thousands dollar at least, manga story could be produced in few hundreds dollars in term of materials (paper, pen, ink etc, or free if you use PC).
This allow rapid production of story on weekly basis for the whole year (about 50 episodes per year). A weekly manga magazine like Shonen Jump contain about 20 different serialized series and it cost like $2 per edition because manga is still black/white and those weekly magazine use low grade pulp paper. And the aforementioned, Shonen Jump sell 2.4 millions every week (so revenue of 5 million dollar every week). Even you take distribution cost and lock bottom price of $2, that is still few 10 thousands dollar per story of gross cash every week, which goes into labour, which are far better specialised in manga production.
The editor/manager act as producer (typical things in Jump is to change anything into battle/action manga in the middle of series. Also, they tend to prolong series way way past its peak). Then the author is more like director because he actually do very little drawing. He set the panel placement and framing of characters within panel (and he draw face of main characters). Then there is a scriptwriter (often, author also dub as script writer). The rest are “assistants” because they don’t do creative work. They trace, colour, draw background, characters (except face of main characters) etc.
Then about 3/4 months worth of episodes are bundled into a paperback book (tankobon), which cost about $5. They use better quality paper but production cost is already recouped so any tankobon sale are $$$. Congratulation. You became a millionaire (if you draw for major publishers). Also, this is why about 3rd of publishing in Japan are manga. In term of production cost/creativity, it is the best medium.
P.S. manga scanslation doesn’t quite reflect what it is like for Japanese readers. Japanese vertical writing move from right to left. So panel movement of Japanese manga assume people read and view from right to left. English translation either have to flip paper or people have to read left to right yet view right to left.
Also, this apply to any language translation but translated line are about 20 to 30% longer than original one. And usually, Japanese to English line are 50% longer. (I used to work as a game localisation tester)
